Welcome - from the CIO and Executive Director ITS Division

Alan McMeekin is the Executive Director of the Information Technology Service (ITS) Division and has recently accepted the appointment of Chief Information Officer (CIO). The Chief Information Officer has operational responsibilities for the coordination and delivery of ICT services across the University and this role has been established as a result of the Information Communication Technology (ICT) Shared Services Review.

The ITS Division is a service-oriented division and has as its mission:

to align information technology to the strategic goals of the University
to employ leading edge applications
to be responsive to the needs of clients and
to encourage effective teamwork.

In line with the mission, we have developed this site which is designed to enhance the support we offer to our clients. We hope it will become a valuable resource for you with a wealth of up-to-date information about all the IT and communications products and services we offer.

It includes training material, contact details, publications, and links to many other related sites.
