<title>Wireless authentication services &amp; Moodle 2 is experiencing problems 20120502.3</title>

<description>&lt;p&gt;Monash Wireless&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The Monash Wireless Service is currently experiencing performance
issues.

Steps have been taken by technical staff to address the performance
issues and a dedicated technical team are now monitoring the service.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Moodle 2&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt; Important changes will be made to Moodle 2 Thursday morning, 3
May, between 7:00 and 7:20AM AEST to address performance issues.
During this time Moodle will be available, however, logged in users
will be logged out. Any work not already saved will NOT automatically
save. To ensure you do not experience any complications, please avoid
using Moodle during this time.  &lt;/p&gt;

some periods of intermittent connectivity. If you experience this,
please wait 15 minutes and then try again. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;If you do continue to have issues please contact the eSolutions
Service Desk on 99032777 (students) or 99051777 (staff) if you
experience further problems. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;For more information, view the eSolutions website. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;Moodle 2 Performance Update&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Important changes will be made to Moodle 2 Thursday morning, 10 
May, between 7:00 and 7:20AM AEST. During this time Moodle will be 
available for use.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;  
Additional support has been put in place including extended Service 
Desk hours (Saturday 10am-3pm students: 9903 2777 staff ext. 51777) 
to minimise impact.

<title>Network services are experiencing problems 20120515.2</title>

<description>&lt;p&gt;We were experiencing problems with network U Drive. This affected all
users.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;This issue has now been resolved.  Please follow the steps below.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;Windows XP:&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Restart the computer and reconnect to the shared drives.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;Windows 7:&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The network drive will have to be manually re-mapped.  For
instructions please contact the eSolutions Service Desk on 99051777.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;If you have any other issues please contact the eSolutions
Service Desk on 99051777.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;We are currently experiencing problems with printing services.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;This will affect 1/6 of staff and student users. Affected users may
not be able to find printers in their printer list, and/or will not be
able to a printer to their printer list.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;IT staff are currently working on this problem, but cannot give an
estimated time of resolution.&lt;/p&gt;
