- The Green IT Steering Committee reviewed the options and impacts of introducing default duplex printing.
- From first semester 2009, two student labs will default to duplex printing. The result from this pilot will be used to support a wider uptake of default printing across Monash

During 2008 the Procurement Board endorsed the proposal for all printing paper at Monash to have a minimum content of 80% recycled paper. |
| Implement new Monash Fax service (PC based and will reduce paper) and develop disposal strategy for obsolete fax machines |
The new Monash Fax service has been deployed at Berwick, Peninsula and Parkville with Gippsland soon to follow. |
