Program governance

The Integrated Collaboration Environment (ICE) Program is part of the Information Technology Services Division (ITS) of Monash University. It is overseen by a single governance structure, guiding the coordinated development and release of a number of services showcased in this website.

The ICE Program Charter (pdf 5.81MB) provides an overarching synopsis of the program vision, business case, objectives and scope.

The ICE Program comprises a number of projects focusing on individual service elements. Charters specific to these projects are also available:

The Videoconferencing Project, a component of the Workgroup Collaboration Rollout Project, is delivering the audio and visual requirements of the Monash Online Meeting service for staff.

Engagement and consultation

Collaboration and consultation with the Monash community is a critical measure of success for the ICE Program.

To ensure engagement, we have formed four main representative stakeholder groups through whom staff at Monash are kept consulted, informed and supported during all stages of the development and implementation of the program services.

Stakeholders can obtain updates on the ICE Program by accessing our stakeholders section.

ICE Reference Group

Business needs are represented by Reference Group members. In consultation with staff members, they are taking a strategic viewpoint and are advising on matters such as:

  • When would be the most appropriate times to release news in your area;
  • Whether your area will be making local recommendations or mandates about the use of new tools or training to support staff.

  • Increase the value of each tool for your area.
