New functionality tips!
Tip #1. See meeting invitations you have not yet accepted as “tentative” entries in your calendar.
In Preferences > Calendar & To Do > Views > tick the box “Display new (unprocessed) notices”. This will display the meetings that you have not yet accepted, identified by their grey colour, and marks your time as unavailable. You will still receive an email invitation of you select this option.
For more information about Calendar preferences, please refer to the learning card Calendar Preferences (CA11) (pdf, 133kb).
Tip #2. View cancelled meetings in your calendar and keep track of your changing schedule.
In Preferences > Calendar & To Do > Views > tick the box “Process cancelled meetings automatically” and then “Show as cancelled in calendar”. This option displays meetings cancelled by owners, identified by their red colour.
For more information about Calendar preferences, please refer to the learning card Calendar Preferences (CA11) (pdf, 133kb).
Tip #3. Enable mail threads for easier tracking and sorting of email.
A mail thread groups together all emails related to a conversation. The latest email is displayed at the top of the thread, with all related emails shown below. To enable this option, click Actions > select “Conversations”.
For more information, please refer to the learning card Working with the Mail Window (MA02) (pdf, 274kb).
Tip #4. Use Lite web client from home if your internet connection is slow.
If you are accessing the web client from a computer with a slow internet connection, you can select the “Lite” tab located within the top right-hand corner of the screen. Selecting this option will make working within your Lotus Notes web client considerably faster.
