Webmail users - Migration FAQ

Your Reference Group Member would have referred you to this page if you are a webmail user only. As a webmail user only, there are steps that you need to do to be able to access your email and calendar.

Step 1

Know your timeslot allocation:

You would have been allocated a timeslot by your Reference Group Member. On the day of your schedule, if you have been scheduled for:

* Morning timeslot:
You will not have have access to your email/calendar from 8.00am - 10.00am

* Afternoon timeslot:
You will not have have access to your email/calendar from 12.00pm - 2.00pm

 
Step 2

After your migration timeslot:

you will need to download your Notes.id file to your U drive, or to a safe location.

You will need this file if you intend to install the Lotus Notes client any time in the future.

Step 3

Your contacts/address book:

Download an excel spreadsheet of all your webmail contacts (Address book). You will need to re-enter these into your Lotus Notes Contacts.

Step 4

Log in:

Log into your webmail via my.monash portal to access your newly migrated email/calendar. Check your account is working fine.

 
Step 5

Do your learning:

If you have not attended any training, online learning is available via my.monash portal

 
Step 6

Any issues:

Contact your local IT if you have any issues
