1. What is Monash Teamspace? Monash Teamspace utilises the Lotus Quickr product, customised to the Monash environment. It is a self service online workspace for teams collaborating across geographical and organisational lines. Members can be internal or external to Monash, and share information such as documents, discussion forums, wikis, tasks, shared calendar and more.
Monash Teamspace integrates with Monash Messaging (Lotus Notes), meaning that you will be able to send others links to Monash Teamspace, instead of sending large attachments. This ensures that members to the Teamspace will access the latest versions of files. You also won't need to use your email to store important content.
Monash Teamspace also integrates with other popular desktop applications including Microsoft Office, Microsoft Windows Explorer, Lotus Symphony and Monash e-Meeting (Lotus Sametime). Connectors within these applications will allow you to easily save files you are working on within your Monash Teamspace environment.
