Monash Messaging - Calendar

New features available within the Monash Messaging calendar tool will enable you to manage your schedules and resources more effectively, helping you to improve time management and daily productivity. Calendar will facilitate greater flexibility and choice by allowing you to:

  • Create a repeating meeting
  • Filter your calendar entries to show only the entry type you are interested in, ie. meeting, appointment, all day event, anniversary, reminder and to do
  • Syncronise your appointments and tasks with supported mobile devices (PDAs)
  • Specify a default list of rooms and resources that you want to use for scheduling meetings
  • View multiple calendars from the one table
  • Set a vacation email message and automatically block your calendar for that period at the same time
  • Accept/reject calendar invitations from emails and your calendar will automatically be updated
  • See more easily if a calendar item has attachments or linked documents

Enhancing collaboration

Your ability to be networked with your colleagues will be enhanced by:

  • Being able to create repeating meetings
  • The ability to provide feedback when responding to an invitation
  • Having auto-processing of invitations that meet your specified criteria
