Monash Messaging - Rooms and Resources

Rooms and Resources is a new component of Lotus Notes that allows you to manage bookings for rooms, vehicles, equipment and other items via your email client.

Key features and benefits

• Prevents the need to call ahead and book, as well waiting for people to call you back
• Provides details of the room or resource
• Convenient with instant selection opportunities Simple search functionality for finding resources that suit your requirements
• will assist you to find an appropriate room – if 10 people attending your meeting, it will show you rooms with capacity of 10 or greater
• Can get immediate booking approval if you’re on the auto processing list

Enhancing collaboration

Using the the new email tool, you will be empowered to collaborate with others in many improved ways by:

• instantly see which rooms and resources are available
• manage the rooms and resources as a group so that there's backup if people are on leave
• ability to text chat with the owners of the resource
