Internet access

Monash staff, students, guests and visiting academics and students can access the internet for research, teaching and administrative purposes from Monash campuses by using the Monash internet service.

New internet service

Between February and March 2008 faster internet access service will become available across the University. The current service will close in June 2008.

Once your faculty or division migrates to the new service you will notice a new look to your login page and it will change:

All labs and computers on the Monash network and Monash modem accounts will automatically be migrated to the new service by March 2008. Users will not need to make any changes to their computer.

The timetable for migration is available.

Configuration will be required if:

• you have a laptop and/or a PDA
• you wish to have access the new service prior to migration of your area.
