Monash email signatures

An email signature is information at the bottom of email messages you send with some details about yourself, e.g. position, address, telephone number, etc. This page offers you an example of the recommended signature type (text signature) and instructions on how to set it up within Netscape.

Text signatures

If you are mostly sending emails outside the University it is advised that you use a plain text signature.

Text signatures are created using a text editor such as the Notepad program which can be found by going to the Start menu, Programs, Accessories, Notepad. Once you have created a text signature you will need to point to it from your Netscape preferences.
