Transfer AssetsTransferring Assets between Cost CentresAssets leased by one Cost Centre can be transferred to another Cost Centre during the period of the lease. Transfers must be notified on a properly authorised transfer form that has been approved by an appropriate officer in the Cost Centre that will assume the charges. Note: Once notified, the transfer of charges will only commence from the start of the next quarterly period (ie. 13th March, 13th June, 13th September, 13th December). If the disposing department requires pro-rata compensation for costs in the intervening period then they must raise their own general journal to effect the transfer. Download the Asset Transfer Form
