Each lecture theatre is equipped with:

  • a projector
  • a PC/computer
  • DVD/CD/VHS players
  • microphone and speakers
  • customisable lighting

Touch screen

When you enter the lecture theatre, the equipment should be turned on and ready for use. From a touch screen on the lectern, you can control the following:

  • PC/computer
  • Projector
  • Volume
  • Room lighting

Black equipment cabinet

The DVD/CD/VHS players and the PC/computer’s CPU are kept in a black cabinet in the front of the theatre, usually next to the lectern.

WARNING: Apart from the DVD/VCR players, do not touch/adjust settings or turn on/off any of the AV equipment inside the cabinet. These have been pre-set to maximise operational benefit. Any adjustments may result in technical difficulties.
