ITS Release Management
The goal of release management within ITS at Monash University is to provide:
- consistency in method and quality of releases
- communication and knowledge of ITS releases
- measurement and improved utilisation of released products/services within Monash community
The ITS Release Calendar is now available for viewing. It provides change, contact and some service information for each activity on the day of it's release.
IT Service Management - ITIL
The ITS Division is committed to the adoption of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) standards to provide a framework for delivery of IT services at Monash.
The ITIL framework is:
- Perceived to be the worldwide de facto best practice standard for managing IT services; and,
- Deliberately non-prescriptive and specifically capable of being adopted and adapted for higher education services.
ITS will continue to review and align its processes and services to meet this stated commitment.
