What is this service?

This service provides a general purpose pool of virtual server machines for Monash researchers to load and run their own application software on, obviating the need for the researchers to provision their own local server hardware.

Staff engaged in academic research and authorized higher degree by research (HDR) students. |
How do I get it activated?
|
To obtain a VeRA server for your specific research needs, please directly contact the VeRA Service Manager, Russell Keil directly in ITS Research Support Services.

How do I use it once it is activated?
|
Once the virtual server has been provisioned and handed over to you, you load, operate and support your own application software on it.

How much does it cost?
|
Basic capacity is centrally funded. Additional capacity is available on a fee for service basis. Details of the funding model for this service are available from the VeRA web page. |
