Palm - Monash Calendar synchonisation using Netscape Calendar Link
1. Install the Netscape Calendar link for Palm Pilot
On the Windows desktop click Start->All Programs->Netscape
Communicator->Palm Tools->Calendar Palm Sync Install to
install calendar conduit software on both the Palm and the PC. Follow
all instructions as displayed by the install tool and select default settings.
Once the installation has been completed, right click the Hotsync
icon in the system tray, select Custom and then change
the Calendar entry to Do Nothing.
Hotsync the device to install client software on the Palm.
2. NC Setup
After the HotSync has successfully completed, a new icon will appear
on the PDA, labeled NC Setup. Click NC Setup to begin Calendar configuration
on the PDA.
3. NC Setup
Input the users username in the User field.
Select Connect: To Server from
the dropdown box
Complete the Server: details with calendar1.monash.edu.au
Input the server Node on which the users account
resides. Please contact local IT support if unsure as to these details
Click -Unassigned- to continue.
4. Password
Enter the users Authcate password .
Click OK to continue
5. Password
Input password again to verify.
Click OK to conclude configuration.
