Guest wireless

The Monash guest wireless service allows visitors or guests working for faculties or university divisions to be given temporary access to the Monash wireless network for the time they are at Monash.

A guest wireless account provides access to:

• the Monash wireless network
• network ports available around the University
• access to Monash hosted services, including the internet*

*Availability of internet access, download restrictions and charges may apply.

Requirements

• Visitors are required to have a WiFi compatible wireless ready laptop
• Service use must comply with the: IT Use Policy - Staff & Other Authorised Users
• For access to the guest wireless service visitors must place a request with the relevant IT Support group, or the ITS Service Desk.
