Monash Dial-up Service

Monash University offers a dial-up service that allows you to connect to the Monash University network from your home and other external locations.

This service is available for:
  • Staff
  • Postgraduate students
  • Students with disabilities

Note: Existing users of the previous service do not need to complete a Request for Computer Access form and can go directly to How to connect to the service as your access has been automatically granted.

Service features

  • Australia-wide access at local call charges (no STD call charges)
  • Monash Virtual Private Network (VPN) software must be installed to access the internet otherwise access is restricted to the Monash network only.
  • Access to the service requires your Monash Authcate username/password.
  • Session time cannot exceed 3 hours.
  • New phone number - 0198-333-839.
