Microsoft Internet Explorer dial-up configuration
The following instructions explain how to configure Microsoft Internet Explorer to use the Monash dial-up service.
Step 1
Start Internet Explorer and click on the Tools Tab located near the top left corner of the browser window. Then select Internet Options in the drop-down menu that appears.
Step 2
In the Internet Options window click on the Connections tab located near the top of this window. From there click on the Settings button, next to the MonashDial entry.
Step 3
Ensure that all boxes are unchecked and click on the OK Button.
Click on the OK button at the bottom of the Internet Options window to finish.
Internet Explorer is now configured and will be able to access external web pages provided that a valid Authcate username and password is entered when requested.
