Monash dial-up service quota information

The following limits are applied for modem usage to provide fair modem access amongst users:

• Maximum of 5 hours per session
  Disconnection will occur without warning if you exceed this limit;
• Maximum of 10 hours per day
  5 hours in peak time, 5 hours in off-peak time (12am - 10am)
  
• Maximum of 40 hours per week
• Maximum of 60 hours per month

Modem usages are re-set at the start of each month. Modem services are unavailable from 7am to 8am the first Monday of each month.

To check your modem usage, go to the Staff Services tab in your my.monash portal. Click on 'My personal info' then 'Dial-up service'
