How to divert your office phone to your mobile
For staff with Cisco IP phones
- While your phone is idle (on hook with no call active), press the CFwdALL softkey.
- Key in your mobile number with a zero (0) at the start.
For example, press CFwdALL, 0 0 4 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8
- Your IP phone screen will now show Forwarded to 00412345678 as well as a flashing forward arrow above your phone number at the top right of the screen.
To cancel the call forward:
- While your phone is idle (on hook with no call active), press the CFwdALL softkey.
- The Forwarded to 00412345678 message and flashing arrow will turn off.
For staff with analogue or digital PABX phones
A three digit PIN is required to forward calls to your mobile from your PABX phone. To obtain one, contact the ITS Service Desk and supply your extension number and the mobile number you wish to forward calls to.
- Lift the handset (or use press the speaker key)
- Dial # * 9 1 x x x (where x x x is your three digit PIN)
You should hear a high pitch tone to indicate the forward has been turned on.
- Replace the handset (or press the speaker key again)
To cancel the call forward:
- Lift the handset (or press the speaker key)
- Dial # # 9
You should hear a high pitch tone to indicate the forward has been turned off.
- Replace the handset (or press the speaker key again)
