Getting started with voicemail

To set up your voicemail

Before proceeding please familiarise yourself with the voicemail guidelines, taking particular note of the discussion of personal greetings.
  1. Submit an online request for a new voicemail service requesting voicemail to be added to your extension.
  2. You will be provided with your initial security code when your voicemail box setup has been completed.
  3. From your extension, dial 27027 or press the Messages key. You will be promoted to enter your initial security code.
  4. You will be guided through the set up process. You will be prompted to:
    • Record your name
    • Record your greeting message
    • Change your voicemail PIN
  5. On completion, your voicemail is ready to use. Your phone will automatically divert to voicemail when your phone is not answered.

Note: If you hang up before completing the set up process no changes will be saved and you will need to repeat these steps.
