5. Is there a charge for having voicemail on my extension?No, voicemail is included as part of the monthly service fee for your telephone service. 6. Will my voicemail account be deactivated if I don't use it?A voicemail account that has not been used /accessed for 18 months will be re-allocated to ensure efficient use and allocation of voicemail resources. If your voicemail account has been deactivated you can apply for reactivation via Service Desk Online. 7. I can't remember my voicemail PIN or my account is locked.For assistance, contact the Service Desk or call the voicemail help line on 50556. 8. My voicemail PIN has been reset but when I try to log in, it says "Your PIN has expired".When the PIN on a voicemail account is reset, a TEMPORARY PIN is allocated to the account. The voicemail system will advise that your PIN has expired when you access your mailbox for the first time using this temporary PIN. 9. My phone shows missed calls, but when I access my voicemail there are no new messages?This indicates that the caller did not leave a voicemail message. If you have new voicemail messages, the red light on your handset will light up and you will see a blinking envelope on the screen. Please hold on the line and listen to the remainder of the message which will ask you to enter a new PIN of your choice. After successfully entering a new PIN the system will allow you access to your messages. 10. My phone isn't ringing, but is going straight to voicemail.Your phone may have an immediate diversion to voicemail. This will show on the display as Forwarded to Voicemail and a flashing arrow will appear above your telephone number on the top right of the display. To cancel the diversion, press the CFwdALL softkey once. 11. I have deleted all my voicemails but the system says I have no room for more messages.Voicemail uses a similar system to Windows in that deleted messages are moved to a trash can. You then have the choice of retrieving those messages or permanently erasing them. Follow the steps below to erase deleted messages permanently:
