Advancement Systems Support

This project is a three-year program of rectification and establishment of ongoing technology support for Donor, Alumni & Community Relations activities.

Following the Illuminate Consulting Group's review of business requirements and issue of an RFP for the essential infrastructure to underpin a powerful relationship network, the decision was made to implement Raisers Edge 7 (RE7) during 2008.Contractual negotiations have been completed and the implementation scope of work is currently being defined. It is expected the system will be operational in base form by the end of this year to enable work to commence on data migration, data cleansing and integration with other key systems.

During 2009 the focus will be on increasing the functionality of RE7 and expanding the user base, aimed at providing a markedly improved service for faculties and central units. The 2009 scope of work will include:

• Building a reporting capability that will eventually include the full alumni lifecycle;
• Greater support for faculty campaigns and programs;
• Contemporary client-facing services for self-subscription and administration;
• Integration with email and call centres to record interactions with customers;
• Integration with SAP to improve accuracy and immediacy of donor activity;
• Integration with other Monash University systems to build profiles of alumni and other parties.
