Business Change Program
Description
The ICE Program is bringing a large number of substantial changes to the collaboration capability of the University and the implementation of these changes needs to be managed by a corresponding Change Program.
Monash is making a substantial investment in the IBM Domino suite which includes not only Lotus Notes but Sametime (Integrated Video Conferencing, Presence Awareness and Instant Messaging) and Quickr (document sharing, team spaces) as well as the VoIP project and associated Video-Conferencing infrastructure and end points. Effective Change Management will be critical to realising the benefits from technology investments.
The ICE Program has delivered Lotus Notes to over 2,200 users and subject to business unit availability will deliver to the majority of the University over 2008 and 2009. The VoIP project will deliver a new telephone system to over 10,000 end points through 2008 and 2009. Upgrades to Video-Conferencing bridges and end points are scheduled for 2008 and 2009.
The ICE Change Program will integrate all this activity with University business processes and includes training, communications and business solutions development.
