Next Generation Centralised Disk Storage

Centralised disk storage was implemented in 2004. In the past 3 years the use has grown and the disk arrays purchased in 2004 are reaching capacity. For the continued deployment of centralised storage ITS needs to purchase the next generation of disk arrays.

This project is to review the disk array market to establish the most appropriate product and vendor. Once the product and vendor have been identified the project will procure and implement the next generation of disk arrays to expand existing capacity while improving the reliability of the service.
