Description
As competition for high quality staff intensifies and promotion of the University as an employer of choice becomes increasingly important, the implementation of an online recruitment system would allow the University to provide a streamlined and sophisticated service to current and prospective members of staff and would ensure that Monash stayed abreast of the recruitment experience in other leading universities.
The project is the implementation on an online end to end recruitment system. It comprises several stages incorporating scoping, design, procurement, implementation and deployment of the solution.
- The online recruitment system will:
Enable job applicants to conduct tailored job searches, receive email job alerts, submit applications online, track the status of applications, and forward job details to friends.
- Enable Monash to streamline the vacancy requisition process including advertising, provide immediate access to online applications, allow screening to reduce applications from unqualified applicants, enable on-line short listing, provide accurate reports for workforce planning and importantly, save time and resources
