Description

A task force has been established by the DVC (Education) to develop a strategy for future learning space design, upgrades and refurbishment.

In addition to developing the strategy, a pilot project has commenced to investigate an integrated learning environment, myLearningSpace. The environment will incorporate learning across four domains (fieldwork, wet laboratory, the classroom and the mobile environment). Students will have a highly interactive classroom experience that will be captured and replayable for improved learning. They will apply this knowledge in analysing field data and microscope results with all the information being captured in the same environment. The environment will support personal study, peer collaboration and student-teacher interaction. It will also integrate with existing educational tools and services.
