Collaboration areas

Collaborative communication can take place with Newsgroups and WebCT. What is described here is collaborative data sharing by shared network storage on the student network. The cost of this varies according to the size of the storage require and must be funded by a faculty or division. This mechanism is specified.

Shared network storage areas are usually named by a unit code and a user group is formed to represent the unit code. This is currently initiated and maintained by service requests.

Staff wishing to collaborate with PGR students in this way should apply for a student account.
