Information Technology Services centrally manages a number of software products. Please refer to the ITS Software Catalogue.
If the software you require has a green tick this indicates that the software product may be installed on your machine, but please note that some software products will not be covered by a site license, and you may need to purchase a licence. Always check the Software Catalogue for details on how and where the software product may be used.
License types:-

Site |
- Site/Enterprise licensed application licensed for the entire University.
- No limit on number of installations if use conforms to the applicable License Agreement.
- Conditions still apply (e.g. license may not cover use by staff at home or use by students

Limited Site |
- Limited Site/Enterprise licensed application licensed for specific areas/groups within campus.
- No limit on number of installations if use conforms to the license agreement.
- Other areas may be able to join license subject to contributing towards license cost
- Conditions still apply

Purchase |
- Consumption or pay as you go license.
- Licenses must be purchased as required.
- Special discount licensing arrangements in place (if purchased from the endorsed supplier)

Free |
- Software available at no charge.
- Specific conditions of use may still apply and need to be checked before installation.

Software products are available for installation using different methods:
Purchasing a Licence
Any questions that you have regarding the process should be directed to your Software Representative in the first instance, and then to the ICT Vendor and Contract Management Group.
