Installing software using Novell Application Launcher (NAL)
Last updated May 2009
Introduction |
Some software products are available for installation via NAL.
Using NAL is recommended wherever possible as it is convenient and provides good software asset management. In addition it saves you the cost of purchasing physical media and is in-line with the Monash University Environmental Sustainability Policy. The ITS Software Catalogue lists the software available via NAL and whether a licence will need to be purchased before installation.
Apple Macintosh and Microsoft Vista operating systems are currently not supported for NAL distribution of applications. The applications that have been placed on the server are for Windows XP only. |
