Where do I get the Media

SPSS is available as a NAL object, please contact the ITS Service Desk or contact your Faculty/Division Software Representative for assistance.

Available for users not connected to Novell and for home use by completing the SPSS for Work and Home order form.

Please return the media on time (i.e within 5 days of receiving the media).  If you are unable to return the media by the required time, you must contact the ITS Service Desk immediately on 990 51777.

They will probably already have somebody else waiting to use the media.

Is there a Licence Code

Yes, it is called an authorisation code.

Where do I get the Authorisation Code

The authorisation code is not required when accessing the software by the NAL application.
The authorisation code will be provided to you once you have completed the SPSS for Work and Home order form. It will cover both multi-core and single-core processors.

How to I install the media

To install SPSS it is preferable that you have Internet connection, as this will allow for automatic installation.  Once you insert the authorisation code you will be provided with a unique licence code which allows you to use SPSS.

If you do not have Internet connection, you must contact SPSS in order to obtain a licence code.    Please follow these steps:-

1. Install the media, a licence registration window will appear asking you to insert the authorisation code.

2. An error message will then appear. The Lock code appears in the licence registration window.

3. Send an email to SPSS at aulicence@spss.com noting that you are a staff member of Monash University, provide details of the authorisation code and the lock code and SPSS will send to you, by return email, the licence code which will allow you to use SPSS.

Should you have any difficulties, please contact your local Software Representative.
