For historical reference only! Go back.
When I try to print in Linux using
nlpr2, I get
nprint: Permission denied when initializing connection
- Check if the password you are using is your Novell
password and not your Linux password.
- Check your Novell password; Novell passwords of no more
than 8 letters and numbers should be used for Linux to Novell
printing. For help on changing passwords see
http://www.its.monash.edu.au/faq/passwords.html
(wait at least 15 minutes for your new Novell password to
propagate).
- If you have changed your Novell password run
nsetprint
again and record your new Novell password, before attempting
to print again using
nlpr2
- Check that you have enough credit available to print the
job (can only be done in Windows).
- If you still can't print in Linux, follow the
instructions at
http://www.its.monash.edu.au/staff/systems/linux/technical/linux-winprintps.html
to print your file in Windows.
