Printing Postscript files from Linux in Windows
What to do when your Postscript (.ps) file will not
print to a student Novell printer in Linux. Uses the PrintFile
Windows application.
- Logout of Linux.
- Press Ctrl-Alt-Del keys in Linux to shutdown properly and
reboot into Windows.
- Download
Printfile
(local download) into your U: drive.
- Explore to your U: drive and double-click on
prfile32 to run the program.
- Copy
your Postscript file(s) from ra-clay or silas to your
U: drive.
- Explore to your U: drive and drag the
Postscript file that you wish to print to the PrintFile window. It
will be sent to the default printer. The PrintFile window looks
like this:
