MDS Attributes

The Monash Directory Service is designed to be as comprehensive as possible. Some attributes are a legacy from the Internet standards we are following, and do not need to be filled out unless you really desire to do so (like car license and home address). Others would be good for you to fill out, like labeledURI and jpegPhoto. Finally, a number of attributes are automatically filled in from information extracted from University databases. These attributes cannot be changed by you. If the information is incorrect, you will need to consult with the maintainers of the original database. Information about corrections is available on the corrections information page.

Note: At no time will personal information (such as employeeNumber) be available to anyone for general viewing.
