PC videoconferencingThe PC videoconferencing service enables audio and video communication with anyone using compatible standards-based H.323 video communication systems. To enable videoconferencing on your computer, you will need to contact your Faculty or Divisional IT support or if you do not have IT Support, contact the ITS Service Desk. Please note that whilst videoconferencing from home is possible, the University is unable to provide technical support for home users. The software for PC videoconferencing is Polycom PVX. Recommended peripheralsThe typical peripherals used for videoconferencing are a webcam, a headset and microphone. All the recommended peripherals listed below are available for purchase from Monash University's endorsed suppliers under the Product Category "IT & Computing" and Product "IT Peripherals".
