Configuration

1. In Ekiga, go to Edit menu and select Accounts.
2. Click on Add and enter the following details:
   
   Account Name: Monash Gk
   Protocol: H323
   Gatekeeper: gk.monash.edu.au
   User: (Your office telephone number (omit '990' if your number starts with '990'). Enter nothing if you do not have a telephone number.)
   Password: (No password)
   
   
3. Click OK.
   
   
   
   
4. Check or select the Monash Gk account.
   
   Once you have selected the account, it will register you to the gatekeeper. You can confirm this by checking that you are listed at the Monash University Videoconferencing Directory.
   
   
   
   
5. You can now start making calls.
