ITS extended access labs and lounges - registration page

Information Technology Services (ITS) offers general purpose computer labs and working lounges that are available for extended-hours access. Students wishing to use these facilities during the extended opening hours need to register their ID card.

Faculty labs

To register for faculty or school extended/special access labs, please use the locate a computer lab page to view the labs available.

To enter these labs after-hours, you need to swipe your registered ID card through the reader next to the door.  Wait for the reader to beep before pushing the door open.  If you want access to both Clayton and Caulfield, you must register for both separately.

Registration can take up to 3 working days to process before you can access the lab after hours.

If you wish to register for a faculty/school restricted access lab, you can use the locate a computer lab page, or contact the relevant faculty. You can find the contact details for the appropriate faculty posted on the lab door. ITS is not responsible for Faculty-owned labs.

Registration expiry

Computer lab registration expires each year (dates listed above), after which you must re-register your card to maintain after hours access to the labs.  If your ID card has been replaced (if it got lost or stolen), you will need to re-register the new card for access.

If you have problems swiping your card for access, please contact Security and Traffic at that campus.
