New methods available to purchase print credits

13th February 2006

Purchasing print credits will now be easier than ever for students, with two methods, face-to-face and online, being introduced for the 2006 academic year.

The cashiers at each of the campus Service Centres, except Parkville, are taking payments for the purchase of printing credits by students. Parkville uses a system that is similar to that used in the libraries.

Students are also now able to top up their print accounts by using credit or debit cards online through the my.monash portal. They can click on the 'My Info' tab and scroll down to 'Buying print credit'.

Print credits are non-refundable and cannot be used for:

  • Printers that are linked to individual computers (not networked)
  • Photocopying
  • Printing in most libraries (a student ID card, or a special card, is required)
  • Faculty of Art & Design printers
  • Faculty of Pharmacy printers
