Printing costs

There are laser printers available near, or in, all student computer labs on campus. In Windows, you have the choice to print to the nearest ones available to you.

Printing charges depend on your choice of:

• Black and white, or colour printing
• Paper size (A4 or A3)
• Print medium (eg: transparencies, not available in ITS labs)

Some labs also offer duplex (double-sided) printing. While this saves paper, you will still be charged the normal rate for printing (ie, 24c for 2 black and white pages) in most labs.

Exceptions

Caulfield lab T1.25 and Clayton lab G1.61 offer a trial default duplex printing service at a reduced cost to students.

Duplex printing in these labs will only cost 20c per double sided page (single sided printing will incur the standard 12c charge, and your printer settings will need to be manually set to single sided printing).
